Born and raised in the Santa Lucia mountains, our Black Angus cows spend their life grazing along one of the world’s most beautiful coasts.Grazing on the native coastal grasses provides provides a flavor profile that is deliciously unique to the coast.

Grass Fed & Finished
There is an art to grass-finished beef. The quality of the feed impacts the overall flavor. The feed needs to be mature and ideally green.
Thanks to access to costal flats that get water year round we are able to harvest every month of the year.

We can tell you where each steer we harvest was born, raised and finished and get a thrill each time we sample the different steers noting the different finishing notes.

Black Angus beef is known for its naturally abundant marbling which translates into juicy, tender, and flavorful beef.
Where to find us
We are a small scale opperation and are thrilled to offer pick up and delivery and provide to markets. As we grow we hope to see you at one of the many amazing local farmers markets.

Pick up in Big Sur on Thursdays and Sundays and Carmel on Mondays. You can now order online and pick up at the Monterey Farmers Market (thanks to our friends at Kitchen Table Cultures). Those days don’t work for you? We can make other arrangements

You can find us in local restaurants as well! Deetjen’s Inn in Big Sur serves our beef in their burgers and steak specials from time to time.
